More info on PRP and PRP Biofiller-this is an advanced treatment turning plasma into a gel which can act as a bioregenerative filler. We can also use PRP for hair restoration

PRP — PLATELET-RICH PLASMA

Your own regenerative treatment, naturally.

At Renew Clinic, we use Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) as a natural approach to improving skin quality, vitality and overall appearance. Sometimes referred to as a “vampire facial”, PRP uses your own blood rather than a manufactured product.
The treatment begins with a small blood sample, which is placed into a specialised centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets within your plasma. These platelets contain naturally occurring growth factors involved in tissue repair and regeneration. The resulting PRP is then carefully applied or injected into targeted areas of the skin, depending on your individual treatment plan.
PRP is most commonly used at Renew Clinic to address fine lines, uneven texture, loss of elasticity, dullness and the early signs of skin ageing. It can also be used around delicate areas such as the eyes and may be combined with other regenerative treatments where appropriate. Clinical studies suggest particularly promising benefits for skin texture and elasticity.
What can I expect?

PRP is designed to encourage gradual, natural-looking improvement rather than dramatically alter your appearance. Results develop progressively as your skin responds to the treatment.
Downtime & possible risks

PRP is minimally invasive, but temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, small raised areas or bruising can occur, particularly following injections. These effects usually settle over several days. Occasionally, dryness or mild scaling may occur.
Because PRP uses your own blood, the treatment is highly personalised. Your practitioner will assess your skin and discuss suitability, expected results and any potential risks during your consultation.

PRP HAIR RESTORATION

Supporting healthier hair, naturally.

At Renew Clinic, we use Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) as a natural, non-surgical approach to supporting the health of the scalp and hair follicles.
PRP is created from a small sample of your own blood. After the blood is processed in a specialised centrifuge, the platelet-rich plasma is separated and concentrated. This contains naturally occurring growth factors and proteins involved in tissue repair and regeneration. The PRP is then carefully injected into targeted areas of the scalp.
The aim is to create a healthier environment around the hair follicles and support their natural function. Clinical research suggests that PRP may help reduce hair shedding and improve hair density, particularly in people experiencing pattern hair loss. However, results vary between individuals and PRP is not a guaranteed treatment for hair loss.
Who can benefit?

PRP may be particularly suitable for patients experiencing early or moderate thinning hair, reduced hair density or pattern hair loss. It can also be considered alongside other hair-restoration approaches following an appropriate assessment.
What does treatment involve?

A typical treatment programme involves a course of sessions, usually spaced several weeks apart, followed by maintenance treatments where appropriate. Your practitioner will assess your scalp and hair loss pattern before recommending an individual treatment plan.
Downtime & risks

PRP is minimally invasive. You may experience temporary tenderness, redness, swelling or mild bruising at the injection sites. Some patients experience a temporary headache or scalp sensitivity. Serious complications are uncommon in published studies.
At Renew Clinic, our approach is always personalised, with the aim of achieving natural-looking, healthier and fuller-looking hair.

PRP BIOFILLER

Your own plasma, transformed into a natural volumising treatment

At Renew Clinic, we can take PRP treatment one step further by transforming a portion of your own blood-derived plasma into a natural plasma biofiller.
Following the collection of a small amount of blood, the plasma is carefully separated and processed to create a smooth, gel-like material. This can then be precisely placed into areas where subtle volume restoration, contouring or skin rejuvenation is required. Unlike conventional dermal fillers, the material is created from your own blood, so no synthetic filler substance is being introduced.
Plasma biofiller can be particularly useful for fine lines, areas of mild volume loss, under-eye hollows, facial contouring and selected areas of ageing or thinning skin. Research suggests it can provide an immediate volumising effect while also supporting improvements in skin texture and quality.
The result is designed to be subtle, natural-looking and personalised, rather than creating the more obvious volumising effect that can sometimes be associated with traditional fillers.
Because the treatment uses your own plasma, it is an autologous treatment. Temporary swelling, redness, tenderness or bruising can occur following injections.
At Renew Clinic, we carefully assess your facial anatomy and treatment goals to determine whether PRP, plasma biofiller, or a combination of regenerative treatments is most appropriate for you.
